01) How to measure

02) Own Fabric- options
If you have sufficient fabric, or you just can't find anything that you like better than what you have, Bespoke Blinds & Poles are happy to advise on what blind options are available to you. All we need is to see the fabric, and know how much you have, and how wide it is. Roller Blinds, Roman Blinds & Velux Roller blinds are all options
03) Moist Rooms
Rooms prone to humidity and condensation can, over time, damage blinds or shades not designed to withstand those conditions. All our suppliers offer multiple options that are excellent, moisture resistant choices for kitchens, bathrooms, or any room where dampness can be a constant issue. Firm favourites are Pleated Blinds, Roller blinds and Venetian Blinds, but these are by no means the only options. Bespoke Blinds & Poles prides itself on being able to suit most our customers’ budgets. Please feel free to challenge us to find a window solution to suit your pocket!
05) Darkening your Room
Sometimes, the absence of light is important to the overall design or function of a room. Bedrooms used by children or during the day, or specialised media rooms require the ability to completely eliminate all outside light. All our suppliers offer blackout fabrics as part of their Pleated blind, Roller blind and Roman Blind collections, and Venetian Blinds can be ordered to maximise light control. 07) Curtain weights
There are few things worse (in the Soft Furnishing world!) than having curtains on a track/ pole that you have to drag to open or close. Any curtain fitter of merit will tell you how important the weight of your curtains are in relation to the successful working of your pole or track. Bespoke Blinds & Poles will always ask, and advice on the best track or pole to give that "Fit and forget" feeling.
08) Insulation
If you do not have double glazing, if you have a conservatory, if you have a North or South facing window, then you will understand the need for insulation. All our blind ranges have materials that will keep the heat in/ out when closed. However, as always, some are far better than others. In particular, you should consider Pleated blinds (invented for exactly that reason).Wooden blinds, Shutters and Woven Wood blinds also work, as wood has its own natural insulation properties.
09) Security
Any covering on your window will afford more security than clear glass. As we all know, thieves are looking for the easy target. Make it harder for them with blinds that obscure some/ all of your light. Or change your curtain track for an electric one that can be set to open/close when it's light/ dark- whether you are at home or not.Bespoke Blinds & Poles are happy to discuss whatever requirements you have.
10) Shaped Windows
Some of our suppliers make a variety of window coverings that can be custom-made to fit your windows, no matter the shape or size. All are available in multiple designs, materials, and options to perfectly compliment any room or style. Please call into our Showroom or email a picture with approx dimensions for an idea of costs.
11) Guarantee/ Refund policy
Bespoke Blinds and Poles Ltd pride themselves on the quality of their products, and their work. All our suppliers have been "vetted" over the years to ensure that they are high quality, value for money products.
All products have a guarantee of between 1 and 5 years (depending on product and supplier).
We will always point this out to you during our discussions.
If we measure supply and fit a product, we will take full responsibility for the measurements and fitting arrangements of any made-to-measure products.
The service that we offer is a Measure-&-Fit service. We will come and inspect the area, measure for and discuss your chosen products and then call you back with a quote including fitting. There is no obligation to accept.
All quotes are valid for 2 months from the day we call you.
Please, if your product(s) develop a problem, contact the store. If you try and fix it yourself, you will invalidate all your guarantees.
If you decide to measure and fit any products yourself, we will give you as much advice as possible. Your guarantee in this instance is on the product(s) only, as we will not have seen the area that you are fitting to.
